Position: General Operator - McCain Foods
Location: Grand Falls Regional Municipality

McCain Foods is seeking a General Operator for the Grand Falls Plant on a temporary full-time basis. This dynamic role is crucial for maintaining safety and product quality standards.

In this position, you will focus on operating equipment, handling materials, and participating in continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment. You'll work rotating shifts, collaborating with supervisors and coworkers to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to key safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold safety practices for yourself and coworkers

• Execute material handling tasks, lifting 19 kg boxes

• Follow changeover procedures meeting production targets

• Support equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

• Maintain sanitation standards in the plant

Requirements:

• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

• Strong self-motivation and a positive attitude

• Basic computer skills beneficial

• Commitment to safety with a solid safety history
