Practice Details
Department has a multi-disciplinary practice style. Position consists of pain management through procedures, medications, psychology, sleep medicine, physical therapy, integrative health, and nutrition. Managing medications including non-opioid & opioid for select patients (not many). Managing patients with intrathecal pain pumps. Outpatient based department with ambulatory surgery center block time. Strong referral network from both internal and external providers. Very strong relationship with orthopedic, podiatry, and sports medicine department who is a primary contributor to the spine clinic within the institution.
Sanford’s Pain Management Services provides outpatient service weekdays only (no call on weekends or evenings).
