The Counseling Programs are housed in the Department of Education, Health, and Behavior Studies (EHBS) in the College of Education and Human Development (EHD)  Counseling programs include an APA accredited Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counseling Psychology, and an APA accredited Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling (on‑campus and online versions of the program available; the online program is currently pursuing MPCAC accreditation).

The successful applicant will receive a contract with an approximate distribution of 70‑80% teaching, 10% advising and supervision, and 10‑20% service effort. Responsibilities for this position include:

• Teaching graduate courses, predominantly on‑campus, in the Counseling master’s program and the Counseling Psychology doctoral program, with potential to teach one course a year online.
• Advising and mentoring graduate students.
• Serving on master’s scholarly or independent research project committees and doctoral dissertation committees, participating in graduate admissions and participating in comprehensive exam processes.
• Serving the program, department, college, university, community, and the profession as needed.
