Overview

Meadowlark Aircraft’s Systems Engineering Group is seeking a talented software/electrical engineer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that various aircraft sensor avionics, navigation-positioning-timing, autopilot, and communication-links subsystems properly interface with the aircraft command-and-control unit. Furthermore, you will develop state-of-the-art interface solutions that are robust to evolving anti-drone countermeasures. Located in Grand Forks, ND, Meadowlark designs, manufactures, and markets customizable unmanned aerial systems.

• Design, integrate, and verify interfaces between aircraft sensor avionics, navigation-positioning-timing, autopilot, and communication-links subsystems and the aircraft command-and-control unit.
• Develop robust interface solutions that remain effective against evolving anti-drone countermeasures.

• Has or anticipates receiving in Spring 2025 a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, mathematics or physics.
• Demonstrates outstanding programming skills and is proficient in Python, C++, and other common API languages.
• Exhibits excellent technical comprehension and communication skills.
• Can work closely with Meadowlark’s hardware engineering teams.
• Can interact well with external subsystems and components vendors.
• Is comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial work environment.

The candidate must be a US Citizen and must successfully pass a background check as well as drug testing for prohibited substances as defined by the Federal regulations.
