Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Full-Time Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Pharmasave in Grand Forks, BC.
We welcome applications from recent graduates who are in the process of obtaining licensure.
Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers
- Ensure patient safety through accurate and high-quality preparation and release of medications
- Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
- Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications
- Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Oversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription filling
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
