Job SummaryAs an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical and electronic components in industrial systems. This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail. Training is provided.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure all products are built and tested per documented procedures.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Assist with the assembly and installation of electronic components in industrial systems.
- Assist with the assembly and installation hydraulic systems.
- Install and wire control modules, electronic sensors, and electrical harnesses.
- Troubleshoot and conduct functional testing of electronic and electrical systems.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to use common shop tools.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Overhead crane and forklift training an asset (training provided if needed).
- Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus.
