This position sets up and operates equipment that mixes and blends ingredients used in the manufacturing of pasta products. Operates and monitors pasta processing equipment and raw material handling systems. Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of the production areas. Heavy lifting and forklift experience required.

• Calibrates and maintains ingredient feeders.
• Completes changeover calibrations.
• Completes a full range for paperwork to record food production process.
• Empties, fills, and maintains additive levels for feeder equipment. This requires handling 100-pound bags of additives and materials.
• Maintains proper date rotation on all additives, using FIFO method.
• Assists with changeovers and changeover sanitation duties.
• Performs sanitation assignments on daily sanitation checklist.
• Performs raw material handler duties as directed. This requires operating a forklift.
• Will assist with production needs as directed.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

• Standing and walking is required 100% of the time.
• Use of both hands required 100% of the time.
• Constant heavy lifting required throughout shift.
• Climbing stairs; ability to work in hot, steamy environments.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Capabilities include pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and stooping.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.

Schedule:

Rotating A/B Schedule (3 days one week and 4 days the next); 12-hour shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
