Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room / Med-Surg

Mayville, ND | Critical Access Hospital

Contract | Rotating Shifts | Onsite

• Provide nursing care for inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Care for outpatients presenting to the hospital for infusions or scheduled treatments
• Deliver emergency room care to patients presenting with acute needs
• Float between Med-Surg and Emergency Room as required — nurses are expected to work both units
• Utilize computerized charting and barcode medication scanning via Epic
• Badge in and out at the facility for all shifts

• Active RN license valid in the state of North Dakota or a compact state
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience required
• Ability to work in both the Emergency Room and Med-Surg units
• Proficiency with Epic EMR, including computerized charting and barcode medication scanning
• Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

• 2–3 years of Med-Surg and/or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Familiarity with swing bed and observation patient care workflows
• Experience working in small or rural hospital environments
