Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a ND or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.

• Active RN license through ND Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement required prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, typically 5p-5a
• Open to blocked scheduling for weekends only (Fri-Sun), weekday block scheduling not guaranteed
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage per unit schedule
• 13‑week assignment
• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department in accordance with established policies and protocols
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage pain and symptom reporting
• Identify early warning signs of patient deterioration and respond per standard procedures
• Coordinate care within an interdisciplinary team and provide patient education for safe discharge
• Complete and submit incident reports prior to end of shift
• Begin discharge planning early to support patient and family understanding
