Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a ND or compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

• Active RN license through the North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule: 3x12s, typically 5p-5a, 36 hrs/week
• Every other weekend required
• Open to blocked scheduling for weekends (Fri-Sun), but weekday block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Holiday coverage per unit schedule
• On-call responsibilities required
• 13-week assignment
• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Perform daily patient rounds, assess patient conditions, and develop individualized plans of care Identify early warning signs of patient deterioration and respond appropriately, including initiating emergency measures as needed
• Coordinate care within an interdisciplinary team and provide patient education to support safe discharge planning
• Document observations, interventions, and incident reports accurately and promptly
