Sales Representative, Sales Manager
The equipment salesperson is responsible for identifying and developing new accounts, retaining customers, growing revenue, and strengthening the overall relationship with existing customers. This role plays a pivotal part in liaising between internal departments such as parts, service, finance, and others to ensure a holistic support for accounts and customers within the assigned territory.
The position develops the sales territory for future growth and maintains relationships within given guidelines, providing after‑sales product follow‑up and supporting equipment operations as needed.
Responsibilities- Identify and develop new accounts, retain customers, grow revenue, and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Achieve targeted retail (new and used equipment) and service sales and promote products and customer relations within the assigned territory.
- Respond to customer queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
- Actively liaise with cross‑functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.
- Strategically support accounts/customers in finding the best solution for their farm based on circumstances and needs.
- Conduct outbound proactive calling to identify new opportunities/applications, initiate sales campaigns, reach decision makers, and collect competitive intelligence.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the customer lifecycle (sales – new and used, service, parts) with focus and understanding of customers' needs.
- Implement approved marketing tools to strengthen product and market knowledge and improve retail sales results.
- Manage customer relationship management, including factory visits or assist with coordination of field demonstrations and training.
