Immediate Opening for a Full‑Time Loss Prevention Officer.

• Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras.
• Report writing.
• Interacting with local law enforcement as needed.
• Provide courtroom testimony as required.

• Pre‑Employment Criminal Background Check and drug screening.
• Must obtain license through NDPISB prior to beginning work.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3‑4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
• Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports.
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts with no tardiness and absenteeism tolerated.
• Previous loss prevention or law enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement.
• Criminal justice or related studies a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
