The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Grand Forks, ND hauling site.
Work Schedule Options- Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday
- 5:00 pm – 2:00 am or 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm or 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform your work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

- Required to exert physical effort that includes frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing.
- Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) often.
- Required to be exposed to a physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often.
- This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
