Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize tooling for manufacturing processes.
- Analyze and troubleshoot tooling-related production issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of tools, including maintenance, repair, and replacement.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure tool performance and product quality.
- Conduct tool trials, validations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Specify and select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for tooling components.
- Ensure all tooling meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in tooling design, manufacturing, or maintenance within a production environment.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, Mastercam) for tooling design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, EDM, injection molding, or stamping.
- Knowledge of tool materials, heat treatment, and surface coatings.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot tooling issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
- Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, mold flow analysis)
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
- Proficiency in automation and robotics integration for tooling applications
- Demonstrated experience in tooling supplier development and management
