Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

• Design and develop new products and components for manufacturing processes.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct design analysis and calculations to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for product designs.
• Manage the prototyping and testing phases of new product development.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including BOMs and specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement design improvements for existing products.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in product design and development within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor, Creo) for modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysis.

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software.
• Demonstrated understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, or fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
