Robotics Technician | Grand Haven, MI
Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting robotic systems? We are collaborating with leading companies in Grand Haven seeking experienced Robotics Technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and calibrate new robotic systems and peripheral equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on industrial robots.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Execute repairs and replace faulty components, including servos, sensors, and end-effectors.
- Modify existing robot programs and teach new paths for production changes.
- Ensure robotic systems operate efficiently and meet production quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering technology.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in robot programming, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Advanced PLC programming skills (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
