Controller - Grand Haven Area

Salary Range: $125,000 - $175,000 depending on experience

• Oversee all financial reporting, including month-end close and financial statements.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
• Manage cost accounting activities, including product costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.
• Optimize cash flow management and working capital strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant time in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in GAAP, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Experience with ERP system implementations or significant upgrades (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced reporting and data visualization
• Certification or experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization
• Prior experience with financial due diligence or post-merger integration
