Vice President/General Manager (Fortune 500 Manufacturing)
- Base pay range: $275,000 – $300,000 per year
- Additional compensation:
Annual bonus and stock options
We represent a globally recognized Fortune 500 industrial manufacturing organization actively seeking a Group General Manager (Director of Operations). This multi‑plant $1.2B operation has recorded record profitability and top line growth.
Position Overview- Reports to the Group VP; manages 3 plants, 1,000+ employees, and 2 General Managers.
- Profit/Loss accountability over $1.2B group.
- Provides direction and leadership aligned with company and business plan goals.
- Oversees multiple projects to ensure on‑time/under‑budget delivery.
- Tracks and develops departmental KPIs and deliverables.
- Directs and drives utilization of problem‑solving methods for plant and customer issues.
- Works closely with staff to develop "HI‑POT" talent.
- Interfaces with customers and Commercial Sales group.
- Work cross‑functionally with other departments.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preference for Accounting/Finance, Engineering, or technical field).
- 3‑5 years of full Profit/Loss accountability.
- Experience managing General Managers/Plant Managers.
- Experience working within a metals environment preferred.
- Strong financial acumen required.
- $270,000 – $300,000 base salary + STI bonus + LTIP ($550k+ total compensation package)
