• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including loading programs and materials.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functionality and detect potential issues.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G‑code.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling as necessary to maintain part accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms and operational problems.

• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and G‑code/M‑code.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledge of tooling selection, offsets, and basic machine maintenance.

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for programming and simulation.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
• Familiarity with advanced metrology tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
• Experience machining exotic or difficult‑to‑machine materials.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
