MS Metal Solutions is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient daily manufacturing operations and drive team performance. This role is responsible for coordinating production activities, managing priorities, ensuring quality and on-time delivery, and developing employees through clear communication, coaching, and accountability. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a productive, safety-focused work environment while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & Leadership
- Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture.
- Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable for performance and attendance.
- Support onboarding, training, and employee development.
Production Execution
- Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet production schedules.
- Monitor workflow, resolve issues, and communicate priorities across departments.
- Ensure customer requirements for quality and delivery are met.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with work instructions, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Track production performance and implement improvements to safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production and ERP system records.
- 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of production scheduling, quality requirements, and safe manufacturing practices.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, powder coating, or assembly.
- Lean manufacturing experience (5S, standard work, continuous improvement).
- Epicor experience
- Proven ability to use metrics to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
