Quality Technician | Grand Haven, MI
Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and complete required reports.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
- Identify, quarantine, and document non-conforming materials and products.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions for quality issues.
- Monitor and verify the calibration status of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the manufacturing process.
- High school diploma or GED;
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. - 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and basic statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.
- Experience with CMM programming or advanced CMM operation.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience conducting internal quality audits.
- Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) application knowledge.
