This position is located in Grand Haven, MI. The salary range is $24.00/hr – $34.00/hr pay will be based on skills and experience and may include performance bonuses.

• Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels.
• Budget, forecast sales, and assess economic trends and community needs.
• Provide direction and guidance to Associates on customer service approaches and resolve consumer complaints within company standards.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve the community.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, and implement asset protection and safety controls.
• Conduct safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews; develop action plans to improve performance.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and recognize Associates to build a supportive workplace culture.
• Consult with members to select eyewear, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, and maintain confidential information.
• Perform minor frame repairs and maintain optical equipment.
• Implement company programs and strategic initiatives, and guide associates on confidentiality and documentation.
• Build high‑performing teams, promote diversity, and foster belonging.
• Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, and promote ethical conduct.
• Serve customers and members with the EDLP/EDLC business models, balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities.
• Strive for continuous improvement, learning, and adopting new technologies.

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year retail experience with 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.

• Experience supervising Associates.
