Sunset Transportation is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Carrier Sales Representative to join our team in Grand Haven, MI. You will be called upon to help continue growth of existing business and our RECORD-BREAKING expansion. Covering freight and building relationships with Carriers will be your primary objective, but you will also be working with customers from time to time. At Sunset Transportation, we work as a team and we all chip in when necessary!

As the Carrier Sales Representative you will manage daily freight that is the lifeblood of our company. We have a the best carrier group in the industry and take tremendous pride in the quality of service that we provide and expect you to be of a similar mindset.

Teamwork, communication, and the best service in the industry are our hallmarks, so you will need to achieve a high level of proficiency in those areas to make an impact. In short, you should be a multi-tasking, relationship-building, tech savvy, highly communicative customer service guru who is focused on doing the right thing. • Broker shipments for a variety of regions and Sunset customers
• Take responsibility for any shipment you book from start to finish ensuring on time pick up, delivery and superior service
• Build relationships with carriers
• Negotiate to win
• Maintain updated and current records of accounts through TMS
• Collaborate with your team to solve problems
• Provide the best customer service...ALWAYS
• Grow professionally and develop a thorough understanding of the logistics industry

• Positive attitude
• 2+ Carrier Sales/Freight Brokerage Experience
• Be able to be on call 1 time a week every 2 months
• MS Office, Windows, and basic business software knowledge
• Desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Open and honest professional communication abilities
• Blazing fast typing skills
