Industrial Electrician | Grand Haven, MI

Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Haven that are seeking Industrial Electricians. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical power, control, and lighting systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Calibrate and test electrical components, instruments, and control systems.
  • Document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used in a CMMS.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical faults and machinery breakdowns.
  • Thorough understanding and application of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Bonus Qualifications
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell)
  • Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and servo systems
  • Instrumentation and process control experience
