Description of WorkThe Training Operations Coordinator provides institute logistics, venue management, registration, and on-site event execution for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s federal Training Program for Federal TRIO Programs.
In this role you will:- Annually plan and execute two in-person hybrid institutes and one virtual institute.
- Manage the online registration platform.
- Manage event budget, contracts, and invoices.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for training faculty and project staff.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Two years of experience coordinating institutes, conferences, or programs, including venue negotiation, vendor management, and on-site event execution, similar experience will be considered.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to travel to institute sites.
- Master’s degree in Higher Education, Public Administration, Event/Program Management, or a related field.
- Prior TRIO or pre-college program experience.
- Familiarity with event-registration and hybrid-streaming platforms (e.g., Whova).
- Experience managing federally funded event or conference budgets
