CNA-PRN (As Needed) – Grand Island

Eventide Senior Living Communities is currently hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Tabitha Prairie Commons in Grand Island. This PRN (as needed) position requires a minimum of 24 hours a month, with at least 16 of those hours on weekends and 1 holiday per year.

The CNA assists in providing residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs in accordance with established nursing care procedures under supervision.

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

• Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and continence.
• Assists with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout the shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs and call lights when necessary.
• Performs work duties within the assigned environment as assigned by Tabitha, regardless of TEAMember preference.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by safeguarding protected health information (PHI) at all times.
