We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Control Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for coordinating the flow of materials, work orders, and production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of resources. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across departments, and plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly and on schedule.
1st

Shift: Mon – Thurs- 7A-4:30P, Friday- 7-11A $20-25/hr doe

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Issue and maintain work orders, ensuring materials and resources are available for planned jobs.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with production, purchasing, shipping, and customer service teams to resolve scheduling or material flow issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, material usage, and job status in the ERP or production tracking system.
  • Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in inventory control efforts by verifying material availability and coordinating replenishment needs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and data accuracy.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient with ERP or MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles a plus.
