Shipping Supervisor

Overview

Chief Fabrication is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to join the Chief team. This position will oversee and coordinate the daily shipping operations to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery.

• Supervise and lead the shipping team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly shipping targets.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of outbound shipments.
• Monitor and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists and shipping labels.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and resolve delivery issues.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

• Minimum 3 years of shipping or logistics experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation and carrier systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
