PRN LPN No Frill

Emerald Healthcare is looking for a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care at Emerald Nursing and Rehab Lakeview in Grand Island, NE.

Base Pay Range

$32.00/hr – $32.00/hr

Job Summary

As an LPN, you will deliver high‑quality nursing care to residents, assessing needs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling on an as‑needed basis.

Work Environment

Skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments.
  • Monitor vital signs, document progress, and report changes to Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with residents, families, and the team.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including infection control.
  • Offer emotional support and education to residents and families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (RNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists) to coordinate care.
Qualifications
  • Valid LPN/LVN license in Nebraska or multi‑state acceptance.
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
  • Preferred experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification. Additional certifications per state regulations may be required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move patients, perform assessments, and stand for extended periods.
