As a Front Desk Security Professional at an educational location, you will welcome students, staff, and visitors; manage access and badges; monitor alarms and communications; and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment through professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor sign-in procedures, and communicate access requirements in a professional manner.

+ Monitor entrances, access points, cameras, alarms, and/or other assigned systems; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services as directed.

+ Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, incident reports, and other required documentation while providing a professional presence at the assigned location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
