Chief Industries, Inc Careers - Apprentice Electrician

Heartland Electric is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join the Chief team. This position will perform a variety of semi‑skilled tasks while maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical components. Candidates will also maintain vehicles, company equipment, and tools and will lay out and install electrical construction under the direct supervision of a licensed journeyman electrician.

• Installation of electrical construction under the direct supervision of a Project Supervisor and licensed Contractor.
• Trenching, installation of conduit, pulling wire, installation of wiring devices, and clean up of jobsite, plus other tasks assigned by Project Supervisor or Manager.
• Attending scheduled meetings for jobsite if required, safety, and company wide.
• Draw, interpret, and read graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids.
• Read, learn, and follow the National Electrical Code and City Codes.

• High School diploma or GED, preferred.

• Applicant must hold a State of Nebraska Apprentice electrical license.
• 6 months – 1 year experience preferred.
