Job Overview

Apprentice Electrician role at Chief Industries, Inc. (Heartland Electric division). The position performs semi‑skilled electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks under the supervision of a licensed journeyman electrician.

• Installation of electrical construction under the direct supervision of a Project Supervisor and licensed Contractor.
• Trenching, conduit installation, pulling wire, and installing wiring devices.
• Clean up job site and perform other tasks assigned by Project Supervisor or Manager.
• Attend scheduled meetings for job site, safety, and company‑wide meetings.
• Draw, interpret, and read graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids.
• Read, learn, and follow the National Electrical Code and City Codes.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must hold a State of Nebraska Apprentice Electrical license.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
