Responsibilities
  • Enforce organizational sales directives to the sales support staff.
  • Work closely with the store manager and assign salesman/accounts to coordinators at store.
  • Ensure adherence to customer order process policies.
  • Review all sales orders for accuracy, appropriate documentation, and clearance.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales quotes and process customer orders.
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests and prepare audit packages.
  • Serve as liaison between sales and operations departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and track performance of order processing procedures, implementing improvements when necessary.
  • Field phone calls from salesmen and customers to schedule orders.
  • Provide updates to sales and customers on delivery and schedules.
  • Coordinate release of orders in the system for delivery.
  • Check and verify accuracy of billing and manage outstanding AR balances as needed.
  • File and organize all paperwork (special orders, stock receiving, AR billing, etc.).
  • Facilitate resolution of problems and issues with customers and vendors.
  • Provide detailed updates on shipments, tracking data, ship‑to‑date counts and remaining deliveries.
  • Direct order entry/processing to ensure efficient and correct order processing.
  • Oversee coordinators supporting sales and customer pricing information and inquiries.
Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises employees engaged in sales support services.

Work Environment

The position is located at the store and may involve working outdoors or in wet, humid, or extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Requires standing for most of the day, interacting with customers, and occasionally lifting objects up to 80 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full‑time; hours depend on store operations, typically 48+ hours per week.

Qualifications

Strong customer/client orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail‑oriented, and experience preferred in sourcing materials, invoicing, billing, and/or accounts receivable.

Required

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
