Native Sun is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support excavation, utility, and public infrastructure projects in heavy civil construction. This role is crucial for maintaining strong relationships with inspectors, city representatives, and project stakeholders while supporting quantities, compliance, and billing coordination across the Front Range.
This is an ideal role for someone with field construction experience who also takes pride in professional communication, organization, and coordination.
Location: Grand Junction Starting Pay Range: $28-$32 hourly

Key Responsibilities of the Job:- Serve as a point of contact with inspectors, city representatives, and public agencies
- Support coordination with CDOT, municipalities, and project stakeholders
- Work closely with the Project Manager and field crews
- Track quantities, production, and daily field documentation
- Assist with compliance-related tasks and project reporting
- Support upstream billing management, including quantity verification
- Coordinate inspections, site walks, and follow-up items
- Maintain organized project records and communications
- Represent Native Sun professionally on active job sites
- Field experience in heavy civil, utilities, or infrastructure construction
- Understanding of construction quantities, inspections, and workflows
- Strong communication and public relations skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working between the field and office
- Experience with public works or CDOT projects is a plus
- Willing to travel, work overtime, and support project needs as required
