We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, as well as extensive knowledge of common instrumentation and sensor types and brands. This role requires proficiency in industrial communication protocols, signal types, and adherence to industry best practices.

• Install, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems from leading brands such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Opto
  22, Idec etc.
• Install, configure, and maintain a variety of instrumentation and sensors, including those from Emerson, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa, Signal Fire, SOR etc
• Develop and implement automation installation and maintenance solutions to improve field operations processes and systems performance.
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of automation systems to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
• Work with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Device Net, and HART.
• Interpret and implement signal types including analog (4-20mA, 0-10V) digital signals etc.
• Follow industry best practices for automation and control systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and operations to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Document and maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and other team members on automation systems and best practices.

• 4-6 years of experience as an Automation Technician or similar role in an industrial environment.
• Proficient in programming and troubleshooting PLCs from leading brands such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Opto
  22, Idec etc.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and sensors from brands like Emerson, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa, Signal Fire, SOR etc
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Device Net, and HART.
• Understanding of analog and digital signal types and their applications in automation systems.
• Familiarity with industry best practices for automation and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant technical certification or associate degree preferred; bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
