Position Highlights

• Position: Pharmacy Technician
• Location: Grand Valley Oncology
• Schedule: Monday – Friday

• Process and fill prescriptions accurately for both inpatient and outpatient needs
• Maintain drug inventory by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and checking expiration dates
• Restock automated dispensing cabinets and medication carts
• Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation
• Comply with hospital, state, and federal regulations regarding medication handling
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and equipment maintenance tasks
• Support billing and insurance claim processes as needed
• Adhere to established procedures to ensure medication safety and confidentiality
• Abide by all current United States Pharmacopeia (USP) recommendations at all times
• Responsible for completing patient billing in a thorough and timely manner
• Responsible for inter‑departmental billing as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years pharmacy technician experience preferred, but not required.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Pharmacy technician certification with the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy.

• $21.00 – $24.15 per hour, depending on education and experience.
