Job DescriptionJoin Denver Recovery Group in bringing life‑saving Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) services to Grand Junction — our 14th clinic dedicated to serving individuals with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Be part of a mission‑driven team making a difference in rural communities.
Location:
755 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (hours may expand to include Saturday 7 am to 9 am).
This is a computer‑focused position requiring proficiency in multiple databases, including EMR, Central Registry, and Medical Billing systems. Intermediate to expert abilities and knowledge of Google Workspace. The role is critical in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of a busy clinic, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.
- Utilizing medical skills for planning, assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patient needs.
- Perform laboratory procedures per current best practices.
- Perform duties within the scope of their licensure or certification, under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor as authorized by the Medical Director.
- Utilize multiple systems (EMR, Central Registry, Medical Billing) to manage patient and administrative data.
- Remain actively engaged throughout the shift via Google Chat and email to ensure timely communication and responsiveness with team members and departments.
- Answer and route phone calls appropriately; take and relay messages as needed.
- Provide accurate information regarding intake and transfer procedures, both in person and over the phone.
- Maintain effective communication among all clinics and all departments.
- Collect patient fees, ensure accurate entry into EMR, and promptly secure all payments.
- Enter and discharge patients in Central Registry, ensuring registration is completed before dosing.
- Support the intake process.
- Uphold professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times.
- Occasionally deliver medications, in compliance with company insurance and DEA regulations.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for staff and patients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Participate in team meetings and strategic planning discussions.
- Occasionally perform light physical work, including lifting up to 20 pounds.
