Department: Women’s Services – Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Grand Junction, CO 81505
Salary: $126,880 – $145,912 per year
, depending on education and experience
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field – Required
Professional Experience
- 10+ years of Labor & Delivery clinical experience – Required
- 5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership or management experience – Required
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
, or ability to obtain Colorado licensure. - BLS – Required
- ACLs – Required
- NRP – Required
- Additional maternal/neonatal certifications are preferred.
The Birth Place at Hospital
The Birth Place provides a family-centered LDRP experience with:
- 8 private LDRP rooms
- Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum care in one room
- 24-hour on-call anesthesia support
- Obstetricians and certified nurse-midwives
- Lactation consultation and breastfeeding support
- Childbirth education
- Multiple pain-management options, including hydrotherapy and nitrous oxide
- Emphasis on mother-baby bonding and the “Golden Hour” experience
