Overview
A client of Innova Solutions is hiring for an IT Help Desk / Desktop Support Consultant to provide Tier 2-3 technical support for approximately 10,000 users. Responsibilities include handling password resets, printer issues, internet connectivity problems, and basic hardware setups. The role requires strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 support skills and effective collaboration with team members to maintain operational efficiency.
Asan IT Help Desk / Desktop Support Consultant, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for end user issues.
- Manage, distribute, and escalate helpdesk tickets to other teams as needed.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Log and manage support tickets using a ticketing system (e.g., Manage Engine), adhering to processes and escalation protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation of support activities and processes.
- Collaborate with team members to address challenges and improve service delivery.
- Provide timely solutions to basic technical issues to minimize business disruptions.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical expertise and service quality.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Manage Engine, Zen Desk, or equivalent.
- Strong ability to resolve printer issues, perform hardware setups, and handle password resets.
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software configurations.
- Proficient with Mac iOS and Microsoft Windows.
- Experience with network troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Familiarity with remote support tools.
Preferred Skills:
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and SaaS applications.
Pay Range and Benefits:
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on factors including education, work experience, work location, specific duties, and certifications.
