This position is also responsible for the daily operation, budget management, vendor management, continual improvement, and long‑term planning for areas of responsibility.

We’re seeking a hands‑on IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the systems that keep our organization running—securely, reliably, and efficiently. This role is ideal for a working leader who enjoys both guiding a team and staying close to the technology that supports meaningful work.

This position is offering a full‑time typical Monday‑Friday 9‑5 with on‑call duty rotation. This position has an annual starting salary range of $‑$.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervises Infrastructure Administration team (e.g., hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and terminating staff, etc.). Performs both hands‑on infrastructure administration work and assigns tasks and projects to Infrastructure Admin team members.
  • Areas of responsibility and accountability include but are not limited to:
    Network & wifi administration;
    Cloud administration and governance (particularly Microsoft’s M365 and Entra platform); email services; on‑premise server administration; backups and business continuity processes; security and compliance; remote computing; mobile device management; data loss prevention; etc.
  • Serves as member of IT Leadership team. Works with Hilltop leadership to identify, align, and prioritize use of IT resources with program and corporate objectives.
  • Manages specific operational budgets. Acquires equipment/services and negotiates pricing/contracts with suppliers/service providers. Provides oversight and evaluates effectiveness of vendors.
  • Works at the highest technical level to evaluate, influence, architect, configure, and implement often‑complex hardware, software, and cloud‑based infrastructure solutions. Contributes to setting long‑term technology strategic direction and lifecycle management.
  • Holds technical review/sign‑off authority for change management process.
  • Conducts regular audits related to IT's service delivery, adherence to IT policies and procedures, and privileged access. Conducts risk assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities. Develops controls and solutions that mitigate risk.
  • Serves as key player on the Incident Response team, developing protocols/tools. May serve as lead technical investigator for incidents.
  • Participates in policy‑writing and compliance reviews and assessments (HIPAA, CJIS, etc). Serves as technical contact for 3rd‑party auditors.
  • Oversees licensing of Microsoft, other third‑party software and products, security certificates, etc. This includes oversight of an annual calendar to ensure timely renewals/cost projections, staying abreast of options and new product…
