Inventory Mgmt Specialist NX

This position serves as a property manager in the Material Management Division of the Logistics Service in a Veteran Affairs Health Care System (VA HCS) and supported catchment area, with responsibility for the inventory and lifecycle management of all non-expendable (NX) equipment in the assigned area(s).

Major duties and responsibilities include:
Lifecycle Management:
Responsible for the lifecycle management of non-expendable assets conducts short, mid and long-term advanced planning analyzes data supports customers and acquisition personnel in developing requirements, utilizing mandatory sources and standardization sources; and corresponds with procurement officials and other stakeholders to resolve issues Inventory Management and Control:
Responsible for the management and control of NX equipment assets serves as the point of contact for the coordination of material support and resolution of logistic problems conducts forecasting and quantitative analysis conducts spot checks; and complies with special requirements for firearms, ammunition and sensitive equipment Performs other related duties as assigned Promotion Potential:
The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.

Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
