Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location:
Grand Junction, CO 81505 – Explore Colorado nursing jobs with mountain views, outdoor recreation, and a vibrant community. - Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,370 - $2,540
- Facility Setting: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Guaranteed
Hours:
32 hours/week (average 36 hours/week) - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- On-Call:
As needed based on unit census and staffing - Start Date:
September 24, 2025
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP or Labor & Delivery nursing experience (2 years preferred)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Proficient in adapting to new healthcare environments and EMR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to women and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, respond to obstetric emergencies, and assist with deliveries
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn health, and recovery
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
