Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location:
  
  Grand Junction, CO 81505 – Explore Colorado nursing jobs with mountain views, outdoor recreation, and a vibrant community.
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,370 - $2,540
• Facility Setting: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Guaranteed
  
  Hours:
  
  32 hours/week (average 36 hours/week)
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• On-Call:
  As needed based on unit census and staffing
• Start Date:
  
  September 24, 2025

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP or Labor & Delivery nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Proficient in adapting to new healthcare environments and EMR systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

L&D RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to women and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, respond to obstetric emergencies, and assist with deliveries
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn health, and recovery
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
