Clinical Manager of the Ferris Care Center (FCC) Full-time, some weekends required

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

FCC’s Clinical Manager is the heart of FCC’s interdisciplinary team ensuring that Hope West’s FCC team delivers high‑quality, compassionate general inpatient hospice care. From welcoming new team members to fostering growth through regular mentoring and oversight, FCC’s Clinical Manager serves as the driving force for staff excellence. This role is responsible for ensuring that every team member feels empowered to deliver the highest standard of care through a hands‑on leadership approach, including staying connected and addressing any needs promptly.

FCC’s Clinical Manager strives to maximize the patient and family experience through strong clinical leadership and oversight of a balanced staffing model. Serving as a guardian of sustainability, the Clinical Manager works collaboratively with teams to meet daily census requirements and monthly contribution margins while never losing sight of quality care.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • RN with current Colorado licensure; graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Must have and maintain hospice certification (CHPN) or obtain no later than the end of the second year of employment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in home health, hospital, or hospice setting.
  • Demonstrated management and/or leadership experience.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license and unlimited access to reliable transportation.
  • Adequate automobile insurance.
COMPETENCIES & REQUIREMENTS
  • Effective writing and speaking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport and positive working relationships with others.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office products and EMR software.
  • Demonstrates effective problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Maintains knowledge of organizational, state, and federal policies and regulations pertaining to hospice care.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS – Medium work

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use the hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Must have unrestricted RN license in the State of Colorado.
  • Salaried/Exempt hiring range: $91,187-$100,880.
