Registered Nurse Nights - In-patient unit

Registered Nurse (RN) – Ferris Care Center (in-patient hospice unit) - $5,000 sign-on bonus

Full-time 3-12hr shifts - 7pm-7am

In addition to strong clinical skills, Hospice Nurses are “teachers” – helping patients identify their personal goals of care and helping caregivers gain confidence in caring for their loved ones. They are generalists on all diseases and specialists in symptom management, requiring excellent assessment and critical thinking skills. Hospice nurses thrive at Hope West, an environment that fosters personalized care. There are opportunities to grow through regular education offerings and support to achieve certification in Hospice & Palliative Nursing (CHPN).

The Ferris Care Center (FCC) team provides short-term care in a home-like setting where friends and family can be present during difficult times. Nurses focus on intensive medical end-of-life care for patients who can no longer be at home but prefer not to be hospitalized. Our approach includes comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support.

This full-time role involves 3-12 hour night shifts (7pm-7am) with an on-call requirement of 2 shifts per month. There is flexibility in scheduling to promote work/life balance.

Who Should Apply?

• RN’s with at least one year of acute care experience in medical/surgical, ICU, ER, or other acute care settings
• RN’s with strong communication skills and a desire to work in a team environment

Requirements, Pay, and Benefits:

• Unrestricted RN license in the State of Colorado
• Hourly wage for night shifts: $ plus a $5/hr weekend differential
