• The LPN will provide general patient care by reviewing the patient’s chart, becoming familiar with orders for medication, labs, radiology, activity, diet, consultations, etc.
• Explains procedures and treatment to patients, allays apprehension, verifies understanding, and gains cooperation.
• Provides individualized teaching regarding medical/surgical condition, treatment, lab/x‑ray results, medications, diet, pain management, and drug interactions.
• Completes appropriate paperwork on new admissions, including signed consents, complete history, documented belongings, orientation to room and floor routine, and works in collaboration with RN to determine and initiate an appropriate plan of care.
• Prepares equipment, supplies, and aids physician or mid-level provider during treatment and examination of patient.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Colorado licensure as an LPN required
• Completion of an IV certification program.

• Current LPN License (Colorado)
• Current BLS Certification

• LPN: $24.00 - $27.60 per hour, depending on education and experience.
• RN: $32.50 - $37.38 per hour, depending on education and experience.
• Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
