Registered Nurse - Acute Med Surg

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological needs
• develop individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare teams
• coordinate and delegate care activities
• monitor patient responses and revise care plans as necessary
• promote professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards
• document care accurately and timely
• and support the growth of the nursing profession

• Current RN license in the practice state (with transfer requirements for compact licenses)
• BLS certification
• a minimum of less than 12 months of experience with a requirement to obtain a BSN within four years if applicable
• Preferred qualifications include a BSN degree
