Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down/Telemetry unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and telemetry experience.

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact), CO or compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications must not expire prior to start)
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry or higher-level nursing experience required
• EKG competency and rhythm interpretation skills required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• EPIC charting experience required

• Work in a 32-bed Med Surg Step Down unit managing drips and acute care patients
• 3x12hr Night shifts ), 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• EPIC charting system used
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor ongoing therapy and treatment plans
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligible for a travel assignment
