American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Oncology unit requiring a CO or compact RN license and 1+ years of specialty experience.

• Med/Surg Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week )
• 36 hours per week
• 8 weekend shifts required per 8-week schedule
• On-call is optional
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency and business need

• Active RN license (CO Single State or Compact) required
• BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• 1+ years of Med/Surg Oncology experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while monitoring treatment plans and health status
• Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent Intermountain staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
