American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a CO or compact RN license and 1+ years of specialty experience.

• Med/Surg unit setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule of 3x 12-hour shifts,
• Works 36 hours per week across 3 days
• 8 weekend shifts required per 8-week schedule
• On-call is optional
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need and competency
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

• Active RN license, CO or compact, required
• BLS (AHA) certification required, not expiring prior to start date
• ACLS (AHA) certification preferred
• 1+ years of Med/Surg experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered
