American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Ortho Med/Surg position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

• Med/Ortho unit within a hospital setting
• 3x 12-hour day shifts per week, , totaling 36 hours weekly
• 8 weekend shifts required within each 8-week schedule period
• On-call is optional
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic for charting

• Active RN license, CO state or compact license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
• No pending license allowed for consideration

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Promote facility mission, vision, and values while adhering to service behavior standards
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required, with candidates expected to complete drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
